The 4-yard skip is our smallest skip and great for soil and rubble loads. Whilst they are not suitable for mixed waste, they are great for heavy waste. Using a 4-yard skip for hardcore and soil means we stay within our weight restrictions. Holding approximately 30-40 standard sized bin bags.

6 Yard Skip
Blackburn Skip Hire
A 6-yard skip is ideal for medium-sized projects such as home renovations or small construction jobs. You can dispose of general household waste, furniture, wood, plastics, and non-electrical fittings.
7 Yard Skip
Domestic Skips Blackburn
The slightly larger 7-yard skip is suitable for mixed waste holding around 31 wheelbarrows full or between 55-60 standard bin bags. The perfect choice for a small house clearance with light or heavy bulky furniture waste. This skip is often used by tradesmen for small kitchen and bathroom rip outs.

If you have a full house of waste, then this skip is ideal for the clearance job. It can hold roughly 80–100 standard black bin bags of waste. The 10-yard skip is not suitable for heavy loads such as rubble or hardcode. However, it can fit in the bulky lighter waste such as furniture.
12 Yard Skip

Our 12-yard skip is ideal for disposing of large volumes of light, bulky waste. It’s commonly used for house or office clearances, shop refits, and garden clean-ups, as it can hold around 100–120 bin bags of waste (approximately 9.2 cubic meters). This size skip is perfect for items like furniture, packaging, timber, and other light construction materials. However, it’s not suitable for heavy waste such as soil, rubble, bricks, or concrete, as the weight will exceed legal transport limits.
14 yard Skip

A 14-yard skip is a large skip best suited for disposing of light but bulky waste. It can hold approximately 110–130 bin bags, or around 10.7 cubic meters of material. These are often used for larger commercial clearances such as shop rip outs and contract skips. We are happy to provide this skip to hire for both domestic and commercial customers in Blackburn and Darwen.
